Hi Everyone,
I hope each of your are doing well. I wanted to share with you that
next week I will be relocating to Washington D.C. I have accepted the
Communications and Development Director position at Media Access
Project, a nearly 40 year young law firm that offers legal counsel to
media reform organizations around the country on FCC proceedings,
first amendment issues, and of course media policy issues.
I'm looking forward to having a rewarding experience in D.C. but first
wanted to thank you for all your dedication and hard work in building
the Drumbeat San Diego event and for all that you do for the San Diego
Community.
Art and I, just last week received calls about projects that started
from a chance connection or inspiration from the Drumbeat event. I've
greatly enjoyed our collaborations and time spent building the event
and learning more about your work and interests in life.
