Passing Variables

Hi I am just starting to really get into web applications and I am
having trouble finding any good information on passing variables. I am
currently working on a website www.sgls.org and trying to do some
repairs since I just aquired it. Anyway, I am trying to use the MX
Kollection for the login part and I want it to display the users
information in the update page, I can get the first record in the
table but I want the record of the person that is logged in, not the
first record. Any information on this would be much appreciated.
