Downtown Milton's First Friday offers free concert

MILTON – Along with its regular mix of arts, crafts, classic cars,
dining, and shopping, downtown Milton’s October First Friday will
offer live music and ghostly entertainers.

Rip Tide, a local classic rock and country band will perform in front
of Camelot Junction on North Willing Street, while the Witches of
Willing Street will be promoting the upcoming Haunted House.

First Friday will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, in downtown
Milton, with music starting at 6 p.m.

The local band, Rip Tide, which will perform in front of Camelot
Junction at 5243 North Willing St. The group performs a mix of classic
rock and country.

In addition to arts, crafts, shopping, and strolling throughout
downtown, local restaurants host a variety of live music on Friday
nights. The Blackwater Bistro, The Mainstreet Café, Tracy’s Liberty
Café, and the Old Post Office offer a diverse choice of music and
weekly dinner specials. While downtown, visitors can also enjoy
shopping at various businesses, as well as visiting the Santa Rosa
Veterans Memorial and the Downtown Riverwalk Park.

Downtown Milton’s First Friday is hosted by the nonprofit
revitalization group Main Street Milton with support from the City of
Milton. All activities are free and open to the public. Children’s
activities are provided at no charge. Donations are appreciated to
help fund the event.
