Happy Holidays, DS! friends, family, and fans!
It has been a while since our last update... the holidays are a busy time for everyone, but we hope yours are going great!
First, if you're an early riser or a rush-hour commuter, you can find us on Q92.9 FM tomorrow morning, Friday, December 18th, as well as Tuesday morning, December 22nd. We will be live on-air between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m.
Also, as you can see on our website, we will be appearing in Sharpsburg this Sunday afternoon, December 20th, at 2:00 p.m. as part of the Bells of St. Mary Christmas show hosted by The WeeJams and featuring several other talented local acts. If you're free Sunday afternoon, come get your Christmas fix! Tickets are $15 and are available at the door or by calling (412) 784-8700.
Our search for DoubleShot!'s next performer is ongoing -- we have already heard several talented performers and look forward to hearing some more prior to making our final decision! Since our Christmas calendar is very limited this year during our time of transition, we will be bringing the holidays directly into your house via the release of some of our Christmas music online on Double-Shot.net! Continue watching the website for track previews from our 2011 Christmas album!
Finally, with NBC airing The Sing-Off this week, we have received many messages from all of you... some asking what our involvement was this year or will be in future years, but mainly just positive support for our group -- it's touching to know that we have such great fans in all of you. It was exciting to be part of the selection process this year, but the most exciting thing is to see all-vocal music in front of a national television audience, and we hope all of you will take time to vote this weekend for your favorite acts and keep watching the show so that it can enjoy success in future seasons!
So that's about it -- we wish all of you an AMAZING holiday season!
