Hey DoubleShot! friends, family, and fans -
First, thanks to everyone who came out to our show Friday night with Artistree at Club Cafe. Everyone had a great time and DoubleShot! is looking forward to being back at Club Cafe in late April.
And now, on to the news!
As we mentioned in an earlier message to all of you, DoubleShot! will be hosting and co-presenting an exciting show, VocaLOCA 2009 at Pittsburgh's Kelly Strayhorn Theater on Monday night, March 23rd at 7:00 p.m. This show features international act VOCALDENTE of Hanover, Germany. In just the past year, VOCALDENTE has become reigning champions and audience favorites at the top North American and Asian championships for vocal music, and prizewinners in three of Europe's biggest festivals -- they are the world's best new vocal act!
DoubleShot! performed with VOCALDENTE twice in Washington, D.C. last year and will be appearing with them again this year on out-of-town stages. We are excited to bring them to our local crowd. This show will also include a performance from The Originals, Carnegie Mellon's two-time Varsity Vocals award winners.
You can buy tickets online for this very special show starting at $12 plus fees, but just like our Club Cafe show, DoubleShot! has a limited number of tickets available exclusively for those on our mailing list and their guests for just $10 per ticket. Reply to this email or contact your local DoubleShot! dude for tickets ASAP -- we don't have a limitless supply of tickets, and we want all of you to see this great act!
