Hi all!
Sorry to have been silent after the first tour of the Fab Lab. I'd be
happy to try and host some kind of weekly or bi-weekly night at the
FabLab, if you guys were still interested. I think Monday nights would
work best for noiw.
Anyhow, I saw this call for projects -- it's an event at the MIT
Museum, during the Cambridge Science Festival. I thought Dorkbot
members or the group as a whole might be interested in submitting
something.

Art/Design/Technology Trade Fair

Description:
The event is a trade fair for innovative work in technology applied
to art, design and
architecture. It's a chance to see and show work, network and talk
with creators of
new technologies, and new applications of existing technologies, in
all art and design
fields. It takes place at the MIT Museum, with use of the Innovation
Gallery's
program facility for performances, video works and other
presentations. Part of the
Cambridge Science Festival, the event will bring together members of
the MIT community
and the public, and refreshments will be served.
Call for Presenters:
There are three opportunities for presentation: 1. Tabletop display
using, for example,
poster, laptop, video projection, model, or working prototype; 2.
Installation of works
in available Museum spaces; 3. Performance, video or explanatory
presentations in the
Museum's program facility with large-scale projection and audio
system capabilities.
