yeah -- i'm sorry i started a whole new thread, but i had a few
unrelated questions. first off -- is pd. 3 the only class signed up on
here? because if we are, we should probably start on our class
decorating ideas, since (a) -- correct me if i'm wrong -- but isn't
that what the group is for? (i mean, if it's just pd. 3 on here), and
(b) not everyone is doing tickets.

and second -- i think ian posted something, but i got it emailed to
me......it was kind of random.......can i _not_ have the new posts sent
to me? how do i change that? (email me how to fix that.....it's got
nothing to do with the Dollars For Darfur project......my email address
is mixxdup...@aol.com)

if you could answer me, that would ba totally helpful.

Allison,

You wrote about not receiving emails, that is possible, but, I would certainly not recommend it because, you might miss something important. What I would recommend is to receive an abridged email, where all the messages of the day come in one email message, instead of none at all. You can change it when you are signed in. Just go to the group. Click " Unsubscribe or change membership". Once there, choose "Abridged Email". Check these over just in case, then click "Save these settings". By the way, since there aren't many people, (yet) we can use it for whatever (as long as nobody posts bad things), until others start using it. (Which will hopefully happen.) For others who are reading, If you have a question, ask! Someone will be happy to answer. If you can't fix it, chances are, I can.

i don't have an opinion (i know, shocker) on ian becoming a moderator.
actually, what does a moderator do? i'm new to the whole "google
groups" thingermajig. so i don't really know if i want to be a
moderator. and i totally agree with ian........more people need to
get on this "group" thingermajig and post, but what about a scrolling
message board on pioneer? that totally confused me.

Mods can invite/ban users, remove/start posts, and... kinda just run

All I really did was draw a layout of the cafeteria and how I think it
should be and stuff... there's really not much more I think I can do,
it's not like I can draw a good banner and stuff, we need more artistic
people for that, and architecture is more "My Thang".

yeah really. mrs. kramer (don't be offended) should have let us choose
our "niche" instead of having a really tight class vote, because
different people are better at different things. alas, the ideas are
due tomorrow, so it might be good to have a some-of-the-class
collaberation of the cafeteria decorations.

posting the website on the agenda board could be a totally cool way to
spread the word. that way, we wouldn't have bajillions of people on
the board, but just enough people on so that word gets out about the
"get together" (of sorts). posting the site around the school may not
be the smartest thing though. i'm just saying -- possibility of
craziness. and allison really does want to ba a moniter/moderator --
whatever you call them.

ian's decorating "idea" was allison's a LONG time ago, but whatever.
and we are just coming up with ideas, because if we actually DECORATED
sooner than a few hours ahead of time, they would be torn or laughed at
