Now that it has been decided that Matt Smith will be playing the new
Doctor, who do you think will be cast as the female lead? Lily Allen
and Rachel Stevens are poised to be the front runners.

Sorry I didn't get to respond to this sooner, but I'm wondering who
the main role will be. I guess I'm just too muddled in the head to
even speculate who I'd want to be the Doctor's companion (assistant..
whatever). My only hope is that she will work well with Matt.

Hopefully not a well known celeb trying to reinvent themselves as an
actress. Id also prefer a character thats not from Earth.
