Open Source Mechanical Linkage modelling?

Hi all,

Looking for recommendations for existing open source (linux or cross platform) software that would be capable of modelling linkages like the following?


Either already setup for automotive, or simeting relatively intuative so I could look at adding roll centre / c of g info back in.

OpenModelica (which comes from the automotive industry anyway) could do it -- and model the dynamics and forces, not just the geometry.

You define the structure in OMEdit as a series of links and bodies.  

Here's some modules done in it by someone else:
