Hi Jackie,

How are you? I just wanted to invite you to the below!! As a long term volunteer at The Whitechapel Centre, I have recently had the opportunity to co-curate the upcoming exhibition, '50 Years of The Whitechapel Centre'  info here.

I would love to extend an invitation to you and the team, to the opening reception, taking place on Friday 26 September, 3–5pm at the Atrium, Open Eye Gallery on Mann Island.

If you are unable to attend, the exhibition runs from 25th September - 19th October 2025 and I would absolutely love your support, which means so much to the charity!!

The Whitechapel Centre is 50 this year – please join us in marking this milestone

You are invited to the launch event of 50 Years of The Whitechapel Centre, an amazing exhibition co-curated by people who have lived experience of homelessness.

The reception is on Friday 26 September, 3–5pm at the Atrium, Open Eye Gallery on Mann Island.

The exhibition offers a moving look at the history of homelessness in Liverpool, with personal stories, a video, a creative memories board, and a timeline tracing The Whitechapel Centre’s work through changing times.

We’d love to see you there. To help us plan for the event please let us know you are attending by emailing: 50y...@whitechapelcentre.co.uk

If you can’t make the launch, the exhibition will be on display until Sunday 19^th October and is free to view in the Atrium at Open Eye.
