Our largest laser cutter, Tony, has been in action for a while now (thanks everyone who helped, especially Mike and Sean). Most of our laser cutter users seem to agree that the Lightburn software he uses is a big improvement on the Lasercut software that we’ve used up to now on Sheila, Sophia, and Gerald.

Gerald is currently having a major overhaul and when he’s back in action he’ll be using Lightburn too, so this seems to be a good opportunity to check that everyone is up to speed with it.

So, if you’re one of our laser cutter users and haven’t used Lightburn yet, or still have questions about its features, then please get in touch – depending on numbers we can arrange a group session or a 1-to-1 with one of the people who’ve used it more.

Also, we’ve got a discount code if you want to buy your own copy of Lightburn – some people have found that useful for practicing and/or setting up their laser cuts in advance.
