Funding for Boost Membership

Each year we offer 8 Boost Memberships with the aim to bring new people to the space and enable existing members to do more. Doing this has a value and if we could recoup this value it would help enormously to DoES's finances. We should investigate what options there might be for getting funding to cover this. We could also see what other benefits we could offer as a result of additional funding, for example having money that could be put towards training, or if there was a way to pay towards travel costs or even something to help with living costs

We should also be wary that this doesn't cause increased workload for volunteers or limit us in who we can offer this to.

Help would be appreciated in looking into this and any comments welcome around other potential benefits or pitfalls. I’ve created an issue to track things and that’s the ideal place to put things but if you don’t have an account on GitHub or just want to put your thoughts here I’d be happy to hear them. Specific places to look for funding would be most appreciated!
