Hi everyone,
I’m holding two sashiko workshops at the end of the month in the Events space at DOeS. Sashiko is a form of Japanese embroidery that was traditionally used to mend and strengthen clothes. Today it is often used for visible mending or embellishing clothes or other objects.
The first workshop is on Thursday 24th July from 6-9pm and is an introduction to sashiko. There are 5 spaces left in this workshop.
The second workshop is on Saturday 26th July from 2-5pm and focuses on learning how to sew sashiko flowers.
The great news is that there is a discount for Does members who have Flexi-desk, Permanent desk, Workshop or Off-Peak Workshop memberships.
Here are the links to find out more or to book a place for both workshops:

Any questions, give me a shout.
