Dear Does Liverpool Team, 

 

I’m a Casting Producer at Curve Media in Cardiff, an award-winning TV company working with major broadcasters including the BBC, Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV and Amazon Prime. 

 

We’re currently casting a brand-new competitive TV series (working title: Ingenious), which brings together pairs of hands-on, practical people from across the UK. 

 

We’re looking for people aged 18+ who enjoy building, fixing or improving things - whether through work, hobbies or personal projects. This could include mechanics, makers, engineers, technicians, DIYers or anyone with a practical, problem-solving mindset. Contributors can apply as a pair (friends, colleagues, family members) or individually, and we may match suitable applicants to form a team. 

 

Across the series, pairs will take on a range of challenges, designing and building working solutions to real-world problems. The competition will test practical ability, creativity and teamwork, with one pair ultimately crowned Britain’s Best Home Inventors. 

 

I came across Does Liverpool and thought your members could be a great fit. We’re keen to reach people who are already hands-on - whether that’s in a workshop, garage, makerspace or on the job. 

 

I’d love to discuss sharing our casting flyer and application form with your network or any other ways we might reach people who could be interested in applying.
