Thanks for your patience while I enjoyed a few celebratory beverages along with fellow fans.  My team's stadium is known for being loud and I think we set a record tonight for how loud we were.  I'm glad I had earplugs.

Anyway... let's get back to things that last longer than sportsball wins: Dixonary!  Here you will find 14 definitions, only one of which is true.

I'll set a 33-hour voting deadline, at 8am PST Tuesday January 27, which is at 11 am EST,  4 pm UTC/GMT, 5 pm CET and 5am Wednesday NZDT.

*** SNARGE ***

1. [Mathematics] An abstract construct in topology that associates data to the open sets of a topological space in such a way so as to make the local and global data compatible.

2. The remains of a bird after it has collided with an airplane (in a bird strike), especially a turbine engine.

3. A slang expression for when fabric is too heavily starched.

4. An expression combining hostility and embarrassment.

5. A thin wooden shim used to steady a loose drawer.

6. Mucus (portmanteau of snot and discharge)

7. To lug by the ears.

8. A tell-tale; a toady.

9. A pedestrian footbridge.

10. To fall asleep on a sofa or chair.

11. to complain persistently and in a peevish or irritating way.

12. an attitude or expression of mocking irreverence and sarcasm.

Hi Dan,

I will let myself be fooled by these two fine definitions:

4. An expression combining hostility and embarrassment.

12. an attitude or expression of mocking irreverence and sarcasm.

Cheers,
Hugo
