6. From Middle English felsok ‘wild mustard', someone who favors yellow clothes.

7. A rare type of metamorphic rock of limited distribution, principally found in the Balkans.

8. Pertaining to handwriting that is unusually slanted, often regarded as eccentric or artistic.

9. Relating to or denoting an igneous rock with high (typically >65%) silica (SiO) content and light color.

10. An intense, fleeting moment of profound quiet, often occurring immediately after a sudden, loud, or emotional event.

14. Denoting a distinctive mineral quality in Scotch whisky derived from water sources originating in exposed highland moorland, characterized by subtle peaty undertones and a crisp, clean finish.

Please vote for two you like for any reason, such as their numbers falling on the day and month of your birthday (though I hope you'll give it at least a bit more thought than that), by the deadline. It's 35+ hours from the timestamp of this message in your time zone, or:

As usual, I may close the voting early once the players who submitted definitions have all voted. So, if you didn't submit one but want to vote, vote early or tell me of your intention.

Hi Efrem,

Totally clueless (again), I'll most likelywaste my votes on 1 and 7, the sparsely ornamented Baltic rock

Cheers,
Hugo

Passing over defs that are undictionarylike, make little sense, or are too vague to be useful, leaves me with four.

From the shape  it could be a mineral. I'll vote for 9 and 4.
