Hi Mike,

Having read the entire list and not believing any of them, I think I will put my confidence in the piggy definitions.

2.  a traditional dish of stuffed pig's stomach, popular in Pennsylvania
Dutch and Southern US cuisine.

3.  tripe; a dish prepared from pig intestines cleaned; stuffed with
carrots and potatoes and stewed for several hours [ Deutsch: Sow's

I think it might be Germanic, and it might be Japanese. I'll take one of each: 2 and 9.

Though I was intrigued by the cartoons of fooling around under the waves: the word is an obvious anagram of sea image.

It has to be 2 and 3, though I'm tempted by 11. Around 60 years ago I  was living near some of my father's family, and an uncle used to invite me for a meal each week before singing with his choir. Often the meal was tripe, which I'd never eaten before. It was actually quite edible, though a bit rubbery.

I'll try one of the pig's stomachs, #2 (though it's probably the other one), and #6.

Also, a tip of the hat to the author of #12 for bringing back memories!

I don’t believe any, but I’ll reward whoever remembered the rubble theme (12) who by this point will be punished with the deal.

And having just finished an on call week I’m drinking. 6 please.
