Figured since people are joining the group, that I'd post a welcome
message and such! That said, welcome to Disneyfurs, home of Walt
Disney appreciation within the furry community! Please bear with me,
the group is still in its infancy, but feel free to get to know each
other and talk amongst yourselves! In the meantime, if anyone knows
anyone else who might be interested in this group, feel free to invite
them!:)
So, to kick things off, let's throw this out there: Other than word
of mouth or possible invitation by moi, why did you guys decide to
join? What about Disney's work and productions appeals to you? How
does it integrate into furry for you?

That and I just love good hand drawn animation, and Disney definitely
has some good stuff, and good furries too. :-)

Tale Spin was something I was always skeptical of, because it starred
characters originally conceived by Rudyard Kipling as pilots and whatnot.
But gradually, I'm learning to overlook that and focus on the storylines and
other characters such as Kit Cloudkicker and Becky that brought more of a
substance to the show! That said, I've been thinking of going back and
watchig these shows again, so as to fully appreciate them! :)

Talespin comes on a couple times a day, I think. On Toon Disney.
I miss having cable TV. =T.T=

The Lilo and Stitch series is the only one I think that had the same
pull as the old Disney Afternoon stuff.
If they would put that and the Proud Family on DVD, I'd sell some crap
to buy it immediately.
BTW, good to see some of my Florida cuzzins here!

Anyway, I have no doubt that both those series will be on DVD at some point.
Disney's pretty good about that stuff, and the Proud Family and Lilo and
Stitch are popular!

Simple answer: there's no money in making new cartoons when you can play
and replay the old ones over and over and over, ad nauseum.

Disney's shown they can still produce good quality stuff. They did it with
Lili and Stitch and it turned out to be a hit!
