This is interesting, with the author -- in part because current taxonomy is not in accord with the Phylocode -- proposing that Paranthropus and Australopithecus be chucked into Homo. That would be like putting all eutyrannosaurs into one genus. So no Nanotyrannus, Gorgosaurus, Daspletosaurus, Tarbosaurus etc. It would all be Dryptosaurus. Or Tyrannosaurus if just all tyrannosaurids are united into one genus. All ornithomimids would be Ornithomimus. Most prosauropods whatever earliest named genus is diagnostic.
