This study presents a synthesis of titanosaur records from the Bauru Group reported for the south of the Goiás state and the Triângulo Mineiro region. The analysis was based on data compiled from paleontological and geological literature, through the review of both electronic and printed texts. The occurrences identified in the study area include 20 formally described records, in addition to fragmentary materials attributed to Titanosauriformes and Titanosauria, collected from strata of the Adamantina, Marília, and Serra da Galga formations, dating from the Campanian to the Maastrichtian. The known sauropod fauna of the Bauru Group in Goiás and Minas Gerais currently consists exclusively of titanosaurs, which are typical components of South American faunas during the Neo Cretaceous.

In prospecting campaigns of the Aït Ali ou Ikkou syncline located south of Imilchil (Morocco), our team has published paleoichnological data from 17 outcrops and 828 vertebrate footprints (dinosaurs and crocodiles) and crocodile tail traces. The last of the published 3AAI sites has provided data on footprint deformation due to movements of not fully consolidated sediments (3.1AAI). We show in this paper footprints with metatarsal marks from other outcrop (3.2AAI). In 3.2AAI there is a theropod trackway with tetradactyl footprints (they include the hallux) and with a metatarsal mark imprinted by the foot that sank into the mud. In this work, the position and movement of the metapodium is related to the position and movement of the acropodium both during walking and at rest. The movement of the dinosaur when moving depends on this position due to the way the foot is placed under the body of the trackmaker.
