Hi, everyone;

I just wanted to put out the word that summer 2026 Scientists in Parks positions are now accepting applications (through mid-February). There are eight openings for paleontological projects at parks, for Agate Fossil Beds National Monument/Scotts Bluff NM, Badlands National Park (two positions), Big Thicket National Preserve, Carlsbad Caverns NP, Dinosaur NM, Montezuma Castle NM, and Waco Fossil Beds NM (they're all near the bottom with the other physical science positions). More information can be found at https://conservation-legacy.breezy.hr/.

(Speaking of Dinosaur NM, sauropod bones were recently found there during work on a parking lot near the Carnegie Quarry: https://www.nps.gov/dino/learn/news/parkinglotfossilsexcavated.htm ).
