Here we report on a large indeterminate stegosaurid specimen represented by portions of both forelimbs, from Uintah County, Utah. Based on our measurements, the humeri of this specimen average 4 cm proximodistally longer than those from the second largest stegosaurid specimen and are approximately 38% proximodistally longer than the average for stegosaurid specimens from the Morrison Formation. The specimen described herein indicates that stegosaurids likely grew to larger sizes than we previously realized and began overlapping in body size dimensionality with some ‘subadult’ sauropods.
