Vertebrate fauna of the Wadi Milk Formation in Sudan and the true age of the deposits

 Recently, I reviewed several works on the vertebrate fauna of this formation (Buffetaut et al., 1990; Werner, 1993; Rauhut and Werner, 1995; Jacobs et al., 1996; Rauhut, 1999). An Aptian–Cenomanian age was predominantly assumed for this formation, and consequently, the non-avian dinosaur fauna was correlated with this time frame. However, considering the recent study by Agyemang et al. (2019), which shifts the age of the Wadi Milk Formation to the Campanian–Maastrichtian, large theropod remains previously attributed to carcharodontosaurids (possibly Carcharodontosaurus itself) most likely belong to abelisaurids.

I am also curious, are there any re-evaluations of the dinosaur fossils or new studies on the Wadi Milk fauna being prepared?
