Subject: SRTS Walk & Roll Virtual Planning
Hello all,
Well, here it is Wednesday, May 4, 2011. The Bike/Walk to work/school is just 2 weeks from this coming Friday. I told Jody that I would take on the organizing of this event similarly to how I did it last year. I know we are all really busy in our work and home lives. My thought is that we don’t really need to have a meeting, but could possibly do the organizing via emails.
I have attached the word document that Jody started with some of my thoughts.
I am volunteering to be at the Boat Harbor station and will find a helper to stay with me. So we still need volunteers for the Lake Road, Wood River Road and Senior Center Parking Lot. I left blank lines on the attached document. Also, if anyone thinks there is a need for another station please let me know. We are adding the Wood River one based on a suggestions from last year. We usually have the stations attended from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Please everyone read the attachment and put in suggestions/corrections/deletions or new ideas and then replay all.
Could someone from the school please forward this to Marilyn Rosene? I don’t see her name on here and I definitely want her to know what is going on as I would like to be able to go to the Friday assembly next week.

Rachel – do you know what is actually planned for the school education portion of this event? I talked wit Doug yesterday and he said he talked with you. I asked him to get together with Danny to plan this – but I got the impression they are looking to us to provide the content.
I’m a little worried about all that.
