can anyone look into the spam coming from the emailer here. I have
gotten 4-5 in 2 days now. and to let youknow I do not open them but
auto make a filter and trash everything from that users emails
automatic. so as long as spam comes and makes it to me that is what
I am doing again. its not just this group but the normal yahoo BS.
thanks for the place to post and read things but if it continues I will have to drop the email group side of it at least and just read it all online only.

people subscribed to the mailing list. We are right now in
conversation how to stop the spam... Any help will be much appreciated.
I'v got also this spam for the last 2-3 days from 2 different e-mails that we
will delete . If you have some e-mail addresses and you are sure the spam
is coming from this e-mails please feel free to help us with information and
we will delete it from the mailing list.
Just for information there are any security codes and software installed in
our pages but seems the spams always find a way to do something HI HI.
So PLEASE if you are not sure the links received from mailing lists are not
real please don't click on it. Not only for Digital Modes Club mailing list
but for each other groups you are subscribed in !
We are trying to do the best to can keep and protect our subscribers away
from any spams. Thanks for your understanding!
And not at least I would like personally to say my big THANKS to DF9AL
Andreas who spend a lot of his free time working with the DMC web
pages!!!

That subscriber email address has been compromised.
You need to delete that user and ask him to fix his email.

I will not say what I have is 100% known spam coming from any one
person. it is easier for me to add a filter locally to that email
addy and just put it in spam folder or trash and view it later if I
need to or it looks like something I need to view.
it is not like we get tons and tons of traffic here that I need to worry more then I am and do more then I am. just making it known and what you just sent/posted is all anyone can really do until yahoo or somebody else gets involved at the uppder levels and they can filter ALL messages from that isp and again that is not helpful to anyone at all cause it will ccut off users that are great and due to a few spammers get cut off of yahoo completely. not just this forum but all of them. so for now just keep up on the emails that are being sent from and tag them as not able to send anything unless you or a opper clears the email for posting. thats best I could say to do and not cut off good folks that may not even know it is happening themselves.

on most days and nights 20m or 40m psk31 if you need a contact it is ok to pop up here and yell at me also to make contact for a qsl card to get awards or for just to say hello and nice to meet you.
I am retired and have plenty of free time.
please check your PC's for virus daily and emailer for spam bots. !! try a real good online virus scanner or 1 on cd. it is more dependable then using 1 on your pc that could be infected itself and make more of a mess then help. I use online 1st for basic system scan for websites with bitdefender free plugin.
does not seem to slow me down any for surfing. I am not a salesman for any programs I get nothing from anyone for posting a name or program, I post cause I use it and it helps protect me better then none at all for online and offline uses.
A web hosted virus scanner not attached to your system directly may find things that your installed scanner may not due to it being infected. so double your protection scan online when you can at least your basic system files . its worth the time and effort for sure. and free to use the bit defender addon for your web browser to make your surfing a little safer. there are plenty of pother choices so shoose what you like and want to use.

2 e-mails that sent spam last few days was deleted
from our mailing list.
If we have more spam coming we will take the subscribers
away but I hope this will not be happened as now it is
happened for first time for many years.
