New modes

Hi to all !!!!, I'm new in this group, but since I obtained my ham radio license (2006) I'm active in digital modes, specially in PSK-31 and RTTY. I enjoy a lot digital modes. I want to use Olivia, Throb and  more "new" ditial modes, but I want to know which programs  can you me recommend to do these modes. I would prefer "free" download ones, ji ji ji.

My favourite is HRD (Ham Radio De-Luxe) which serves all digital modes.

 

It is a FREE download although you can make a donation if you wish.

I agree with Roy, and the latest version is at
http://www.ham-radio.ch/kits/beta/3.5/1807/

However, it's far more than just a digital modes program. The main
part, Ham Radio Deluxe, is a program to control the radio via the CAT
connection (Computer Aided Transceiver) and the digital modes program
that comes as part of the package is called DM780.

You can, if you want to, make a desktop link just to run the DM780
program on its own without needing to control the radio.

Currently DM780 will allow you to use PSK (31/64/125), RTTY, Olivia, CW
and a number of other digital modes, including SSTV, which has just been
added, and soon to have Digital SSTV modes, simlar to DIGTRX and WinDRM.

If you are new to digital modes, I would suggest that you need to read
up on interfacing the sound card on your PC to the radio. A good
starting point (which includes CAT connections if your radio has this)

See if HamradioDeluxe is Ok for your needs. It's a software suite for logs,
digitals and maps and it's free. Has very often updates.
Download the latest beta kit from
