This coming Saturday morning teaching on "The hundred deities of land of the Joy"

This coming December 15th 2007, Saturday morning Khenchen Rinpoche
will be explain about "Gaden Lha-Gya-Ma" or "The hundred deities of
land of the Joy" which is Lama Tsong-Kha-Pa Guru Yoga practice (This
practice not require any Empowerment). This practice is very powerful
practice and very simple practice; I think one of the best of Lama
Tsongkhapa Guru Yoga. Also this practice is very good for gain wisdom
for us, which we needed for the beginner level. Also this practice
includes Lama Tsongkhapa, Manjushri, Avaloketisvara and Vajra-Pani
practice.
I hope everybody will be enjoying and put more effort with this
practice.

Tashi Delek and Happy Holiday. Last two sessions I taught about Ga-den Lha-gya-ma or Hundred Deities of Land of Joy from beginning through visualization of receiving clear wisdom. Upcoming January 2nd 2008, Wednesday evening 7:pm I will teach how to visualization on:

1. Meditation on purifying (already talked)
2. Receiving great wisdom (already talked)
3. Receiving clear wisdom (already talked)
4. Receiving quick wisdom
5. Receiving profound wisdom,
6. Receiving wisdoms of explaining,
7. Receiving wisdoms of composing
8. Receiving wisdoms of debating.

Ganden Lha-gya-ma, known as "The Hundred Deities of the Land of Joy", is a Gelug guru yoga practice that focuses upon Tsongkhapa (1357-1419), the great master who founded the Gelug tradition in Tibet. The practice of guru yoga is extremely important and exists in all Tibetan Buddhist traditions. Given the distinctions between the Vinaya, the Mahayana sutra, and the Mahayana tantra traditions, each understands the reliance upon the guru according to their increasingly profound approaches. Without this guru yoga practice there is no way to develop the realizations and blessings indicated in the Buddhas teachings. Ganden Lha-gya-ma, as practiced in the Gelug tradition, teaches that ones own mind is inseparable from the gurus body, speech and mind. According to this dharma training, one also performs the Seven-Limb Prayer practice for the accumulation of great merit.
