Educational Qualifications & Experience |
· ACA / ACMA / CIMA or MBA from a reputable university with majors in Finance. · At least five years of working experience on financial aspects of a large organization, preferably in large local or multinational Institutions |

· Hands on experience of treasury management will be an added advantage. · Have sound knowledge of overall financial systems. · Should be a self-starter, able to multitask and think out of the box. · Excellent analytical skills; Able to motivate team and command respect. · Possess exemplary interpersonal communication and report writing skills. · Able to lead and motivate teams and command respect. · Proficiency in computers especially MS Office. · Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent timelines. |

Job Responsibilities |
· Reporting to Senior Manger Finance/Director Finance, the incumbent will be responsible for the overall day to day operations of the Treasury function including endowments and foreign currency arrangements, cashiering operations, central payment processing unit, ERP functional area, loan compliance, external audit and other periodical financial closing and management / board reporting. · Review cash flow projections and work in close coordination with Fund Management to ensure idle funds are invested. · Monitor and supervise payments in all currencies made to suppliers and staff ensuring complete compliance with the institution’s policy and law of the land. · Monitor and supervise the overseas payments and intra entity transactions through debit notes. · Review bank positions to ensure that funds are available on timely manner as per the agreed timelines. · Monitor monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities and preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements of the group · Consolidate and reconcile daily collections (cash & non-cash) · Regularly communicate and arrange different training sessions for processing staff regarding payment processing. · Continued review of processes and internal controls and implementing improvements · Resolve day-to-day operational issues for timely processing. · Ensure compliance with the covenants of the agreements with external lenders. · Ensure compliance with the requirements of local laws. · Review financial policies and procedures and give recommendations for improvement / implementation to the management. · Supervise the preparation and review of the financial statements and statutory budget with variance reports. · Review quarterly financial statements for Board approval. · Any other tasks that may be assigned. |
