Job Title :	AVP Compliance
Location:	Karachi - Pakistan
Educational Qualifications & Experience	·         Masters degree from an institute of repute with a an experience of 6-10 years on a similar level in Compliance and Legal of a reputed bank
Skill set for this Position	·         Solid understanding of money laundering schemes as well as AML legal and regulatory environment, specifically the laws, regulations
Age bracket:	Max 35 years
Job Responsibilities	·         Management of Compliance Risk Management (CRM) framework to ensure that all functions/groups timely submit their CRM self assessments. ·         Broadcasting new regulations/circulars issued by SBP and assigning them to relevant stakeholders. ·         Assisting stake holders in defining controls for new/revised regulations/circulars pertaining to their respective group/function to ensure compliance across the bank. ·         Facilitating state bank inspection coordinator in conducting smooth end to end SBP annual inspection and resolve all queries with the assistance of concerned group’s coordinator. This includes pre-inspection preparations to post inspection compliance & update. ·         Support to Head of Regulatory Compliance. ·         Assisting Head of Regulatory Compliance in conducting and submission of various sorts of Questionnaire. ·         Assisting Head of Regulatory Compliance in establishing mechanisms for ensuring that all business activities of the bank are in maximum compliance with regulatory requirements ·         Assisting Head of Regulatory Compliance in following up with owner for timely submission of ad-hoc reporting to SBP. ·         Working closely with various business groups and functions during new product development/market expansion and process workflow improvements to identify and assess the compliance risk therein and suggesting measures to mitigate it, assigned by Head of Regulatory Compliance. ·         Assisting Head of Regulatory Compliance in ensuring receipt of all regulations originating from regulators and their dissemination to the concerned businesses. ·         Assisting Head of Regulatory Compliance in promoting and maintaining relationships with local regulators.
