Job Responsibilities |
· Assist the CLD Group officer in the customizing of the CLD strategy for the assigned region in accord with the cultural sensitivities, business goals, objectives and performance management system while facilitating the effective implementation of approved strategic plans and programs to facilitate successful achievement of the overall CLD objectives. · Collaborate closely with HR, training & development and performance management units to realize a cohesive talent development and management process with integrated processes for recruiting, performance management, leadership development, and succession planning to facilitate effective human resources acquisition, development and retention in accord with regional business plans. · Prepare, recommend and seek approval for the regional CLD budget and ensure the effective management of all sectional activities in compliance to the approved HR budget. · Manage the effective achievement of CLD functional objectives through effective leadership of the team – setting individual objectives, recruiting qualified staff, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal – in order to maximize subordinate and functional performance. · Assist the CLD Group Officer in the establishment of a progressive learning culture in accord with company’s business vision to boost the development of a Learning Organization in liaison with HR leaders and business leaders to facilitate achievement of learning objective in accord with business requirements. · Create a climate that is supportive of learning by delivering educational presentations & creating PR material to publicize learning initiatives across the region to facilitate establishment of a learning organization. · Act as an advisor and true business partner to Executives and Business leadership in the region to ensure aligning Learning strategies to achieving Company Business Goals. · Coach & support Line Managers & departmental learning leaders in managing the learning and performance improvement process within their own functions to ensure key learning initiatives are cascaded throughout the organization · Advise on skill development and human resource development implications of strategic decisions, and identify areas likely to require the support of the HR Departments. · Identify areas of skill development in liaison with performance management unit, facilitate effective implementation of established performance objectives to support achievement of high skill levels. · Support business leadership in the effective implementation of workforce learning & performance processes to facilitate establishment of required skill levels to fulfil business needs effectively. · Support regional management in conducting organizational reviews and make recommendations regarding skill requirements to maximize efficiency and use of available talent. Identify skills needs and gaps and initiate action to remedy. · Work closely with the regional management to understand the changing business and skills requirements in order to modify and customize training programs and facilitate development of business needs driven training in liaison with Training & Development leadership. · Develop, seek approval for initiatives for a learning organization including – development methods and tools, methods of identifying learning needs implementation and ROI of learning, across the assigned region in liaison with training & development unit and business leadership. · Implement the corporate learning & development plan across assigned region, including: the learning / performance needs identification process, the training curriculum for all levels, the Compan Way modules, e learning & coaching sessions etc in liaison with HR and business leaders to facilitate effective achievement of defined objectives. · Together with Training & Development division and external service providers contribute to the development, customization of learning & development/leadership development programs in accord with changing business needs using state of the art technology and learning tools in order to achieve all present and long term business objectives of the region. · In collaboration with internal and external parties, develop a blended learning curriculum (instructor led, e-learning , self directed, distance learning …etc ) aligned with the business goals and in a cost effective manner. · Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the Learning, Development and Performance Improvement operations, systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement. |
