The syllabus will be posted shortly on the website but we won't be able
to start registrations until we receive approval from the Mid-American
IDTANA region. We hope to start registration within the next couple
weeks. Please note a change in the way Prelim and Champs will be run,
previously they have run from youngest to oldest but this year they
will run from oldest to youngest with the dance off in the middle of
the day.

RE Pelim competitions, the syllabus does not specify hornpipe "Dancers
will perform 3 steps of the reel or slip-jig and 40 bars of the treble
jig."
- do we have only the option of Treble jig or can we do Hornpipe?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure this has to be a misprint but I've sent a message to
the person in charge of the syllabus just to make sure. I'll reply as
soon as I've heard back and then we can get it corrected in the on line
syllabus.

It was a misprint and we have corrected the syllabus, the corrected
version should be on the website shortly. Competitors have the choice
between Treble Jig or Hornpipe. Online registration will be started by
the end of the week.
