Championship dance-off

Hi,

 

I noticed that the dance off is for 1st and 2nd place winners only this year.  Also, it says for Intermediate and Senior competitions.  It seems that there isn't an intermediate level for the boys so will you include the junior level for this?  I am trying to plan on whether we'll stay over on Saturday night or not, and this may be a factor.  Could you let me know what the dance off will be for the boys competitions?  Thank you so much!

Thanks for pointing that out, we have a meeting tonight so I'll find
out if this is a mistake and I'll post the answer after the meeting.

I checked with the Feis chair and the committee and the way it is
written in the syllabus is correct. Apparently there had been
complaints from the adjudicators that it was unfair to compare a 14
year old to an 18 year old so it was decided to keep the dance off to
the older dancers. The dance off will be open to the 1st and 2nd place
winners of the Intermediate and Senior Open Championship events and
will be held mid-day after those events have been completed.
