DCAA new board announcement

Dear All,

I would like to announce the new DCAA Board of Directors for the 2014-2016. On Aug. 2nd, we held the first new DCAA Board meeting with the newly elected board members, previous board members and the Chinese school representative.  During this meeting, the assignments of the new DCAA Board of Directors were elected and appointed. 

President:  Jane Zhou (周婕);                    Vice President:  Siqun Wang (王思群)

Secretary：Liyun, Wang (王利芸);            Treasurer:  Jiyu Chen (陈吉宇)

Chief Financial Officers:  DCAA – Shuhong Wang (王树红) & Chinese School - Jianping Fan (范建萍)

Chief Public Relation Officers:  Wei Zhang (张薇) and Xiang Gao (高翔)

Chief Communication Officer:  Shanshan Liu (刘珊珊)

Chief Operation Officers:  Naxin Cai (蔡纳新) and Yi Wang (王－)

Chief Education Officers: Han Zou （邹晗）and Wei Jiang (蒋伟)

Hereby on behalf of DCAA,  I’d like to express our sincere appreciation to the former DCAA Board of directors for their effort and energy to lead our organization in the past years.  The following former directors have left the DCAA board after serving 1 or 2 full terms: Hongyu Wang (王宏宇), Hong Zhang (张洪), Yuefei Tao (陶月飞) and Yanhe Huang (黄彦和) .  Their effort, energy and enthusiasm have made a tremendous difference in our community at large, and have motivated all of us to continue to serve the community. They will be forever appreciated.  

After a successful 2013-2014 school year at our Chinese School, our School Administration & Operation team members: Principal Chen Fang (方晨), Assistant Principal Liang Hong (宏亮) and School Manager Zhen Zhang (张震), have graciously agreed to continue to serve our Chinese school.  Their commitment and dedication are truly appreciated by DCAA community including parents, students, friends and families.    

In addition, the new DCAA board has planned a strong Chinese School Council leadership team to better support the school operations.  The School Council members will be announced shortly. 

Meanwhile, I'd like to send an early Mid-Fall wish to everyone. In order to celebrate the upcoming Moon Festival, we have ordered mooncakes again this year and they will be available for purchase on the first day of the Chinese school on Sep 6th, 2014. Stay tune for details.

Together with the new DCAA leadership team and especially with all of you, I am sure that we can bring our DCAA community and our Chinese School to a new level. I am looking forward to taking this exciting journey with you.

尊敬的特拉华华人协会朋友们和春晖中文学校家长们,大家好!

在繁夏将去,金秋即来之时, 我很高兴向大家宣布2014至2016任期的新一届的特拉华华人协会(DCAA)的董事会成员。

于8月2日，我们召开了新一届特拉华华人协会的第一次董事会议，新任董事会成员、前任董事会成员和中文学校的代表一同出席了会议。通过这次会议，新任董事的工作分配如下：

                秘书长：王利芸

                会计：陈吉宇

                财务总监：王树红 （负责：DCAA协会帐目）;  范建萍（负责：中文学校帐目）

                公共关系部负责人：张薇 和 高翔

                活动运营部负责人：蔡纳新 和 王一

                教育部负责人：邹晗 和 蒋伟

同时,我还要借此机会,特别感谢我们上一任特拉华华人协会董事会的全体成员，感谢他们在过去几年中带领特拉华华人协会取得的成绩和对社区所做出的贡献。特别要感谢那些已期满荣退的董事会的成员: 王宏宇、张洪、陶月飞、黄彦和. 由于他们的所付出的努力、贡献的精神和积极的热情，使我们的社区活动水平又上了一个新的高度. 虽然他们现在离开了董事会，他们所做的一切将不断地激励我们新一届的董事会成员，更加努力地继续做好服务社区的工作。

在2013-2014年度，春晖中文学校取得了非常辉煌成绩的。我们的教务工作委员会成员：方晨校长、宏亮副校长和张震主任愿意继续为我们中文学校服务。我们代表学生家长、老师和朋友，对他们的辛勤工作表示感谢！同时，新一届的董事会也将组织一支强有力的中文学校校务管理委员会队伍来支持中文学校的校务管理工作。中文学校的新一届校务管理委员会成员将另行宣布。

另外，我还要预祝大家中秋快乐! 为了迎接即将来临的中秋佳节,我们特别为大家预订了美味的中秋月饼, 将在中文学校开学的第一天，9月6日在中文学校向大家供应。欢迎大家届时购买。具体详情将另行通知。

让我们大家一起共同努力，把咱们的协会,社区和中文学校的发展推进到又一个崭新的层面。
