亲爱的家长和学生们，
你们好！转眼间新的学年就要开始了！本学年将于2016年9月10日星期六正式开学。今年学校将延续往年基本课程设置。本学年的注册将于本周六8月27日正式开放，请大家登录学校网站 www.chunhuischool.org 注册课程。

今年我校再次得到中国驻美大使馆和国家侨办对“海外华文教育示范学校”的支持，为回馈广大学生和家长对我们的信任和支持，我们将在本学年免去所有中文课的书本费，学校年刊也将继续免费发放给所有在册学生。
同时应广大家长的要求，面人班李春兰老师将增设“成人捏面人班”，上课时间是周六下午1-2点，欢迎大家注册。
学校将继续为非中文母语家庭的学生开设“中文New Track初级班”，面对6岁以上无中文基础的学生开放，上课时间是周六下午1-3点。
为提高学习中文的兴趣，学以致用，学校将继续在秋季学期举办年度“中文演讲比赛”，并在2017年春季举办第一届“中文识字比赛” 欢迎大家报名。2017年春季也将举行SAT中文模拟考试以帮助七年级以上的同学们备考。 详情请参考本年度校历。
今年学校还将继续为初、高中段的学生们提供社区服务和实习的机会，我们欢迎热心的学生或家长和我们联系。
此外，为增强本地华人凝聚力，培养团队协作和拼搏精神，本年度学校还筹划承办或参加校际及社区体育类型比赛及活动，包括年度春晖运动会、大费城地区中文学校乒乓球联赛、网球联赛及特拉华州马拉松接力赛等，欢迎学生和家长报名参加。
在新的一年里，我们会继续给学生们提供更多的学习和使用中文的途径和方式，希望通过学以致用，使中文学习更有意义。我们也感谢大家对春晖一如既往的支持，新学年希望大家能继续和我们保持沟通的通畅。让我们在新的一年里，齐心协力，携手共进！

Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome back to Chun Hui Chinese School! This year we will continue offering various Chinese language and culture classes from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade with multiple options from 1:00 to 6:00 on every Saturday afternoon, starting September 10, 2016.
The registration will be open for public on this Saturday Aug 27, 2016. Please visit our school home page for registration detail: http://chunhuischool.org/

This year textbook fees for all Chinese language classes will be waived, thanks to the funding support to “Overseas Chinese Language and Culture Education Model School” from the Chinese Embassy at Washington DC. We will continue offering school Yearbooks to all registered students free of charge toward the end of the school year as well.
New Track Beginner class will also be available to students aged six and above from non-heritage families and takes place between 1-3pm. Per request from parents, a Dough Figurine Class for Adults is newly open to parents between 1-2pm.
This year we will continue organizing the annual Chinese Speech Contest in the Fall semester and introduce a new “Chinese Character ‘Spelling’ Contest” in Spring. A preparation sample test of the SAT Subject test on Chinese will also be offered to students grade 7 and above in Spring.
We will work closely with several volunteer parents to provide opportunities and guidance for high school students to engage in community services. Please contact us if you are interested in donating your time to Chun Hui.
We will also organize or coordinate school-wide and regional sports activities for our school families this year, including the School Mid-Autumn Sports Games, Greater Philadelphia Region Chinese Schools Ping Pong Tournament, Tennis Tournament, and the Wilmington Marathon Festival. We look forward to your participation!
We believe a student at Chun Hui may look forward to many highly rewarding educational and personal experiences, and most importantly, to the development of positive association with Chinese language and culture through various activities. We appreciate your continuing support to Chun Hui. With a commitment to do our best and be our best for Chui Hui’s amazing students, we look forward to working with you in the coming year.
