These are a few of the Alicudi sketch paintings I did last summer. (#3 has some special Alicudi found sea glass!) I had the amazing opportunity to visit Alicudi, an Island off of Sicily.  There are no cars on this Island.  We had to walk 1.5 miles up a steep mountain side to come to the house where we were staying (Steep is an understatement!).  Once there, we were perched in the clouds in the middle of the Mediterranean sea.  It was really an experience of being in a dream.  These paintings are little sketches I did while sitting on the veranda between sea and sky.
