I am delighted to invite you to join me November 16th in Hudson, NY for the beginning of the Hero's Path, a new Creativity & Courage workshop series.

In a letter to her son, who was departing to France on a sail ship with her husband John Adams, Abigail Adams wrote:

"These are times in which a genius would wish to live.  It is not in the still calm of life, or in the repose of a pacific station, that great characters are formed.  The habits of a vigorous mind are formed in contending with difficulties.  Great necessities call out great virtues.  When a mind is raised, and animated by scenes that engage the heart, then those qualities which would otherwise lay dormant, wake in to life and form the character of the hero."

It should be noted that the name of their voyage ship was 'Sensible". (Really! ) It departed November 15th.( Really! ) 234 years ago. The illustration above is a drawing from John Quincy Adam's diary aboard the 'Sensible'.  He was 9 years old at the time.

I believe that following your hearts direction is truly the sensible choice for your life.  Your heart's path is your hero's path.  The path of the hero is not without peril and great courage is needed.  The word courage stems from from Latin cor "heart".  It is in the heart that you will find your courage and it is in our Creativity & Courage workshop that you will be encouraged to follow your heart and to discover your vast spring of creativity that is a tool, a vessel and a guide to your Hero's Path.  This workshop will raise the mind and animate the heart, it will ignite those qualities that may otherwise lay dormant, it will awaken the creative hero within you.  This workshop will be your voyage ship, we depart November. 16th!

I encourage you to be sensible.

I encourage you to dare to believe in the infinite power and possibility of your creative vision.

I encourage you to follow your heart.

New C&C Workshop Series!!! Courageous Creators, The Hero's Path.
A new advanced Creativity & Courage workshop series designed for the creative being who has the desire and willingness to courageously advance towards their potential and purpose.  This workshop serves as a beacon, illuminating the path of the hero.  The hero is one who dares to be their full and authentic self, to boldly express their creativity in this precious life.  Through exposure to a variety of hands-on creative exercises, readings and peer support this workshop series will deepen your ability to express thoughts and feelings. Through your innate creativity you will discover new ways to problem solve, communicate and connect with both yourself and others. This series is for each of you that want to explore your unique creativity in a supported and mindful environment, to be challenged to experience and examine your relationship to your existing thoughts and perceptions, and allow new ideas to emerge in surprisingly delightful ways!

This series will be held in a new beautiful space inside the Solaris building, in downtown Hudson, NY one Saturday a month, (November-May) from 2-5pm
Dates:  11/16, 12/14, 1/11, 2/15, 3/15, 4/19, 5/17
