Any local groups that should receive DSNC major event notices?

Do you have an email list for your Davis-area street? Do you know of a local non-profit that would be interested in advocating where to spend CBA funds? Any other groups that should know what the DSNC is doing?

As Outreach liaison, I've been asked by the DSNC Board to assemble a publicity checklist to increase visibility and representation for major DSNC events. This includes notifying interested local community groups. If you know of a group that should be on our checklist, feel free to email me privately (no need to spam the whole DSNC) or suggest it to the checklist doc directly.

If you do so, some logistical questions:

• Should this group get notifications about every monthly meeting, or only public votes (officer elections and CBA votes)?
• What's the best way to provide notification? Some groups prefer to let members who are already on the DSNC email list forward anything of interest. If a group wants us to do pro-active notification, how should that happen (email, Discord, SMS, etc.)? If you're not sure, who can we contact to ask the group what its preference is?
