New e-bike rental service

It appears they are installing a new dock for “Metro Mobility” e-bikes (MetroMobility.io) by the Holland Street entrance to Davis Station.

More bike rental options sounds great (especially near transit), but it feels to me as though there was just suddenly a construction zone by the station.  Was there an announcement about this I missed?

I don't think there was an announcement about it. I saw the same thing today.

It might be a good thread to also remind people that Somerville is now part of the coverage area for CargoB which is a cargo bike rental service, too! The app is available for iPhone or Android, and I learned about it at the Office of Sustainability and Environment event in the Day St. parking lot a few weeks ago.

Hurray for more options!
