Hello Neighbors, 

Thank you to everyone that came out to tonight's meeting, as well as those who voted in our board election. 

I'm writing to request your assistance in funding the DSNC for 2026, which you can do through our GiveButter link. We're hoping to raise $5000 this year. 

With your generous donations, you'll be supporting: 

• Outreach to the Davis Square community to encourage more participation in any future votes we take. For instance, this could finance mailers to inform residents about a future Community Benefits Agreement vote
• Making the DSNC more accessible, by funding software, audio-video equipment, and translation services that we'll need to reach our members
• Hosting events to bring our community together, by giving us the resources to book rooms or tables at various cultural events

Two quick logistics notes: 

The DSNC is a 501(c)4 nonprofit, and so donations are NOT tax deductible

GiveButter will default to adding both a processing fee and a "tip" onto your donation. In my opinion, the tip is high for a fully automated platform and you can manually adjust it to a more reasonable level. This won't affect your donation to the DSNC
