Mailing List Cleanup and Updates

Hello everyone, 

I'm messaging today to let everyone know that we' have been doing some catch up work to ensure that all our mailing lists are up to date,  and that all of our new members who have joined since the spring election have been officially welcomed. It took some time to complete this, as we gained many new members this spring and have working to improve our processes along the way, but our list-update efforts should now be complete. If you would prefer to receive these messages at a different email address, or know someone who is not receiving these emails who wishes to be, please contact us with the email address that you would like added to this mailing list. 

Announcement Group

If you are new to our membership and have recently been added to this list, or if you have been re-added after previously having left the group before the split of our announcement and discussion lists, what you can expect to find here are:

• DSNC General Membership Meeting announcements- typically held the last Monday of every month, with a notice/agenda sent out two weeks in advance.
• Messages related to the work of DSNC Committees, i.e. recruiting volunteers or announcing upcoming events.
• Announcements about other neighborhood events, DSNC news, or other pertinent not-to-be-missed information.

Messages in this group are Board-approved, and are announcement-only with replies turned off. Questions can always be directed to our Board at dsnc-...@googlegroups.com

Discussion Group

If you have not already been made aware, we also now have a group dedicated to discussion among our members. Any member can start or participate in discussion threads there, on any topics related to the Davis Square neighborhood. To access the discussion group, click here.

If no longer interested

Finally, if you have recently been added back on to this mailing list after previously having left and you no longer wish to receive these messages, you can leave this group at any time by clicking "My membership settings" in the left hand menu on Google Groups. Please know that any unwanted or duplicated additions to the Group were done in effort to make sure everyone on our membership roll would continue to receive important information about DSNC. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

If you would like to be removed from our membership list all together, or if you no longer live, work or volunteer in Davis Square, kindly email dsnc-...@googlegroups.com and we will update your membership status. You are always welcome to rejoin at a later date as long as you continue to meet our membership criteria.
