Sephardic Heritage Update 1059

I would like to wish our Muslim readers ‘Eid Mubarak.
As I wrote in last week’s cover letter, the ongoing crush of terror and fear which is overwhelming Americans lacking basic security feels very much like the culmination of a dangerous political process that began in 2015. And critical to that process, led by the criminal psychopath Trump, has been his many Jewish enablers.
I have for many years been writing about the deplorable Yoram Hazony, who once again appeared on C-Span’s Book TV, spouting his NatCon Fascism in the Trumpist manner:

To be honest, I had to really hold back from writing even more about him this time, but wanted to make sure that SHU readers were aware of this new program, at the intriguingly named Common Sense Society in the heart of the Old Confederacy, which has him once again deny democracy, individual liberty, and socio-cultural pluralism – all things noted by two very sharp questioners during the Q&A portion that closes the event, one of whom is a Romanian immigrant concerned with ethno-cultural pluralism, the other an old style Conservative concerned with individual liberty.
I have already said much about Hazony, who proves that Zionism is indeed racism, but I was struck this time around by – like Dennis Prager – the way he has completely gone over to the Christian Evangelical side. There is little question that he is now a full-blown Jews for Jesus, as he has the temerity of advising his adherents to deny the American Constitution and go to the places where the White Christian Fascist terrorists “control” their communities.
You are once again, as unpleasant as it might be, advised to watch the program to see just how low these Trumpscum Jews have descended. And though Hazony and his Christian Fascist partner Douglas Murray do a lot of lying and shapeshifting, claiming they are not White Supremacists, the onrush of confusion over terms like Imperialism, Nationalism, and Fascism turn the discussion into a kind of surreal event that marks the hardcore nihilism that has become characteristic of a political movement that has sought to take away our freedoms and impose on us a particular Christian reading of Scripture that Torah Jews know well leads to our oppression. Tellingly, intensifying the duplicity, the names Trump, DEATH SENTENCE, Orban, Putin, and Tucker Carlson are never uttered once throughout the program, as if the silence will paper over what is in essence a validation of the New Christian Fascism.
And speaking of our oppression and the Christianized Jews who have signed on to the New Alt-Right Fascism, I cannot think of a more representative example than Tikvah Tablet favorite Curtis Yarvin. Last week I pointed out the hypocrisy of Rabbi Richard Hidary, a Tikvah Tablet Useful Idiot whose participation in the Zalman Bernstein Trunpscum process reflects the self-hatred of Sephardim who have no moral compass, and whose contempt for their own heritage is acute. It is all part of what Alana Newhouse, Bari Weiss, Liel Leibovitz, and Jacob Siegel – to name the most prominent Tikvah Tablet deplorables – represent to the Jewish community, as they freely attack Torah values and keep the Sephardim in their subservient place.
The very frightening Yarvin is a true Fascist believer, in the Bannon mold, whose article on Monarchy is seconded by another Trumpscum Jewish degenerate, Alan Dershowitz. Here we see the Dersh further burnish his Lysol bona fides by defending the lawlessness of “Green Bay Sweep” Seditionist Peter Navarro, a man who has expressed the utmost contempt for our Constitution. It has become clear which side of the Law Dershowitz is on, and how his fealty to Trumpism outs the lie to his duplicitous claim of legitimate “legal” standing. He is just one more criminal, a shyster defending the worst political criminals America has seen since the collapse of Reconstruction.
In this context, it is interesting to read Orthodox mouthpiece Rabbi Avi Shafran’s article on the many bewildering moral complexities that the Jewish fundamentalists are now facing from their support of Trumpworld. It is unclear if Shafran has any real moral compass, or whether he actually understands how his Jewish allies have actually become Christian Anti-Semites themselves. But that is a level of intellectual complexity that is likely beyond his pay grade. The TOSFOS values do not prepare such Orthodox Jews for the difficulty they are now facing.
Rabbi Yehoshua Pfeffer is The Tikvah Fund’s Haredi leader, and his article on “Treatchery” and “Ideological Vacuum”s is typically incoherent and hysterical, in a way that Alana Newhouse the Whore of Trump would surely appreciate. Pfeffer is one of many Orthodox figures who has signed on to the Tikvah Neo-Con Straussian nihilism, and is intent on bringing together the religious radicals with their political radical neighbors.
Blake Flayton is yet another Tikvah Great White Hope, who does the HASBARAH dance in trying to argue that Zionism, a White Jewish Supremacy movement, is not racist. He shuffles from one point to another, attacking all the usual suspects along the way, and for this he has been richly rewarded by a White Jewish Supremacy Intersectionality that unites David Suissa’s Jewish Journal of Los Angeles, JNS, and Israel Hayom. You can figure out the rest.
And this form of racist WOKE Intersectionality can be clearly seen in Dan Schnur’s article on the new Ashkenazi-Black Neo-Con alliance. The article is another David Suissa contribution, which reminds us that the only Real Jews are Ashkenazi Shtetl Jews, and if anyone wants to be free of their persecution, they must sign on to the standard HASBARAH racism and its White Jewish Supremacy.
I can think of no better example of this racist Intersectionality than Mosaic magazine’s re-posting of Asael Abelman’s Tel Aviv Review of Books review of a new Hebrew language book on Sephardic Zionism. It is yet another way to manipulate Arab Jews at the service of the very White Jewish Supremacist ideology that has erased them and their culture since 1948. It is the essence of Uncle Tom-ism and the duplicitous way that Ashkenazim have sought to co-opt us to suit their racist agenda.
When I read Ruben Brosbe’s eJewish Philanthropy article on Muslim students learning about Judaism through the Holocaust, I was reminded of my past personal interactions with the very sad, but very successful, Mehnaz Afridi, who chose the winning Ashkenazim over the loser Sephardim. Rather than have the Muslim students approach Judaism from the shared tradition of Jews and Muslims in the Middle East, the idea is to make sure that they are ushered into the White Jewish Supremacy, and know that they are only to deal with Ashkenazim. While Holocaust education is ubiquitous in today’s pedagogical landscape and should be studied universally, the idea of what I have called “The Levantine Option” – which was attacked this week by Trumpscum David Horowitz in one of his writer’s articles promoting the Catholic Reconquista over Andalusian Convivencia – is being erased, as Ashkenazim continue to cancel Sephardim from the discourse. Ms. Afridi should know better, though the Ashkenazi Supremacy is institutionally demanding and to deny it is very dangerous.
Jake Berger confirms the point with yet another article on the Trump-Kushner HASBARAH accords and the centrality of Ashkenazim in the process. Those racist Ashkenazim are called “Jewish Pioneers,” at the very same time that Arab Jews are prevented from sitting at the Adult Jewish Table. Just ask Rabbi Elie Abadie, hired to serve his Ashkenazi masters as they do all the serious work of Interfaith Dialogue. We can serve the ahweh for them!
For those who have never heard of the recently-passed Uri Zohar, he was once a big Israeli celebrity cultural hero who turned Haredi. The Mishpacha magazine tribute will give you the Haredi side of the story, which will be balanced in a future newsletter by the scorned Secularists.
We close with the very sad figure of New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg, here lamenting the Johnny Depp defamation suit disaster. I have not really followed the TMZ story, but reading Goldberg’s article makes me think that the Trumpscum SCOTUS attack on women is the tip of an iceberg that stands as the Right Wing FOX News response to the #MeToo movement. And in seeing what Tikvah Tablet Bari Weiss was up to this week with her sleazy Cancelled pals, it is clear that the reactionaries are loaded for bear as they seek to put women back in their Phyllis Schlafly 1950s place. As I have repeatedly said, it is a very bad time for Liberals, who do not seem to have the fortitude to fight back against those who seek to destroy our Civil Rights and our democratic freedoms. Just ask Joe Biden and Merrick Garland – if you can find them hiding under their desks!
