I continue to believe that Douthat really wants Trump to become president again so that we can get more Anti-Abortion judges. He is just a little confused about his feelings.
But when it comes to the actual Tikvah machers, led by Alana Newhouse, the Whore of Trump, there is no need to even discuss the matter.
As we will see in the notes below, being Tikvah means being completely oblivious to the Trumpublican Fascism and its devastating impact on America and the world.
Being Tikvah also means being deeply attuned to any possible issues coming from the hated Democratic Left.

The New York Times squashed attempts by reporters to investigate the origins of COVID-19 in 2020, according to an article in The Spectator that quotes two anonymous Times employees. The lab-leak theory, only recently deemed a legitimate hypothesis, “was untouchable” at the Times, according to a staffer who added that “the fact that Trump embraced it, of course, also made it a no-go.” Another employee is quoted saying the idea was “considered dangerous.” In the years prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Times was paid millions of dollars in advertising revenue from Chinese state-controlled outlets, a fact that The Spectator article suggests could have influenced its editorial decisions about investigating COVID-19.

I have remarked on many occasions how the Whore of Trump and her many Tikvah allies do not like to ever mention Trump’s “grab them by the pussy” sexual shenanigans.
Check the record and you will see that it is a subject off-limits to Tikvah Tablet personnel.
But Tuesday was the Holy Day of Cuomo, and the Whore of Trump did not miss a beat:

Indeed, I must hand it to Bari Weiss; she is truly monomaniacal in her Anti-Woke mental illness:
Like her ally Newhouse, Weiss never speaks of Trump and the ongoing destruction of our democracy; limiting her Substack franchise almost exclusively to defending White people getting Canceled.

The primary idea of the article is not just to exonerate the racist woman – who apparently is not a racist! – but to attack the media in the usual Lysol fashion:

Kmele also uncovered important context lost in the public narrative, including:
· A recording of Christian Cooper at a local community board meeting just days before his encounter with Amy Cooper. “It’s getting super ugly between birders and unleashed dog walkers,” he says. “I’ve been assaulted twice so far this spring, people actually putting their hands on me, which really surprises me, because I’m not a small guy.”
· May 2020 testimony provided by Jerome Lockett, a black man who said Christian had “aggressively” threatened him in the park. Among the details: “when I saw that video, I thought, I cannot imagine if he approached her the same way how she may have genuinely been afraid for her life.” He continued, “If I wasn’t who I was, I would of [sic] called the police on that guy too.”
· Lockett also says: “My two fellow dog owners have had similar situations with this man, but don’t feel comfortable coming forward because they’re white. They think they’ll be seen as some ‘Karen’ or whatever.” His complete statement can be found on page nine here.
· The dispatch from Amy Cooper’s 911 call, which seems to corroborate her explanation that her double reference to Christian’s race to the operator — and the growing hysteria she displayed in the video — was the result of a bad cell phone connection. Listen here:
· Amy’s history of sexual assault, her suicidal ideation, and why she fled the country.
The incident is seen out of the eyes of a White Woman who it seems has issues with Black Men – though we are told that this is because of a “bad cell phone connection.”
The fact that the Black Man was concerned for his own safety because of the unleashed dog is not considered.
The fact that the White Woman refused to leash her dog – which apparently would have defused the situation – is not considered.
