Instagram Restricts Rapper Kanye West’s Account After Anti-Jewish Remarks Were Posted

By: The Jewish Voice

Instagram has restricted the account of rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, after he made a post that some groups are calling “anti-Jewish,” as was reported by NBC News.

According to a Meta spokesperson, Instagram deleted content from Ye’s Instagram page and placed a restriction on the account after the company said that the rapper violated its rules and guidelines.

NBC News also reported that Meta did not specify what content was specifically removed from the account and what content violated their rules, but the decision comes after Ye made a now-deleted-post Friday that was anti-Semitic in nature.

A report in Rolling Stone indicated that repeatedly violating the platform’s policies and breaking its rules may result in restricting an offending user from posting, sending DMs, or commenting.

In the post, Ye shared a screenshot of a text exchange he said he had with Sean “Diddy” Combs, with the caption “Jesus is Jew,” as was reported by NBC.

The news follows a week of controversy that kicked off mass condemnation after Ye displayed T-shirts sporting “White Lives Matter” at his YZY fashion show in Paris on Monday, according to the report in Rolling Stone.

Earlier in the week, Diddy criticized West for the T-shirts he presented in Paris.

NBC News reported that the message from Ye appeared to show that Combs was controlled by Jewish people, a reference to a long-standing anti-Semitic conspiracy theory.

The post came after Ye appeared in a Fox News interview Thursday with Tucker Carlson and also echoed anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, as was reported by NBC News. In the interview, Ye accused Jared Kushner, who is Jewish, of brokering Israeli treaties for monetary gain.

Rolling Stone reported that in the text exchange between West and Diddy, West said that he would “show the Jews that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me.”

The American Jewish Committee issued a statement following the reported exchange between West and Diddy. “Kanye West has had a streak of rants this week that is remarkable even by his standards,” the statement reads. “Ye needs to see that words matter, especially a vicious anti-Semitic comment that recently surfaced on social media. If he wants to have any credibility as a commentator on social issues, let alone as a musician, maybe he can start by figuring out how to make a point without fomenting hatred of Jews.”

The Rolling Stone report said that Ye responded to the Instagram restriction by hopping on to Twitter for the first time in nearly two years to taunt Meta and call out Mark Zuckerberg. “Look at this Mark,” Ye wrote, sharing a photo of the two of them together. “How you gone kick me off instagram.”

The Instagram restriction takes West’s long week of controversies and stretched them into the weekend, according to the Rolling Stone report

Ye and those close to him have been public about his struggles with his mental health in the past, according to the NBC News report. He was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2017, and has a history of posting erratically on social media.

Recently, Ye has used Instagram to attack his estranged-wife, Kim Kardashian and other business partners.

Kanye West says he’ll go to ‘death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE’ after Instagram ban

By: TOI staff

Acclaimed rapper Kanye West appeared to threaten Jewish people in a tweet posted Sunday, shortly after his Instagram account was restricted for content viewed by some users as antisemitic.

“I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda,” he wrote, in one of his first tweets in two years.

The post was later removed by Twitter for violating its rules.

“Death con 3” appears to be a mistaken use of the US military heightened alert status DEFCON 3.

He also posted against Meta’s Jewish founder Mark Zuckerberg for the Instagram restriction.

“Look at this Mark,” West wrote, sharing a photo of the two of them together. “How you gone kick me off instagram.”

West — who now goes by Ye — had not posted on Twitter since the 2020 US elections, only returning once his Instagram account was restricted after he posted screenshots of an argument with hip-hop star Sean Combs, also known as Puff Daddy or Diddy.

In one of the messages, West said: “Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me.” West captioned the Instagram post “Jesus is Jew.”

The statement was part of an argument between the two about West wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt at a Paris fashion show. The controversial slogan has been described by the Anti-Defamation League as a “white supremacist phrase.”

It wasn’t clear who West was referring to in the message, but the comments drew criticism from the American Jewish Committee.

“Kanye West has had a streak of rants this week that is remarkable even by his standards. Ye needs to see that words matter, especially a vicious antisemitic comment that recently surfaced on social media,” the organization said.

“If he wants to have any credibility as a commentator on social issues, let alone as a musician, maybe he can start by figuring out how to make a point without fomenting hatred of Jews,” the statement said.

On Thursday, West claimed that former White House senior adviser Jared Kushner brokered the Abraham Accords peace agreements between Israel and several Arab nations in order “to make money,” during an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.

West claimed that Kushner and his brother Josh, who are both Jewish, were acting like a “handler” to former US president Donald Trump and claimed that “they love to just look at me or look at Trump like we’re so crazy and that they’re the businessman.”

“After talking to them, and really sitting with Jared and sitting with Josh… I was like, ‘Wow, these guys have really been holding [former US president Donald] Trump back and being very much a handler,’” West told Fox News as he reflected on his relationship with the Kushners.

Kushner has come under scrutiny from Democrats over the investment fund he set up after leaving the White House, which accepted $2 billion from the Saudi Public Investment Fund controlled by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Kushner and the crown prince forged a close relationship while Trump was in office.

Bin Salman is believed to have been more open to the Abraham Accords than other officials in the Saudi kingdom. Analysts say that Bahrain would not have agreed to normalize relations with Israel in 2020 along with the UAE without a green light from Riyadh.

Kanye West remains dangerous, disgusting, and harmful to demonic leftists

By: Jason Whitlock

Kanye West is not as confusing as he often sounds. His outlook on life stems from a defined set of values spelled out in the Bible. His actions and words often conflict with his outlook.

He’s normal. Every human being struggles to align their values and deeds. The difference between West and most human beings is the transparency of his failures.

Yesterday, West sat down for an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson. The 45-year-old rapper, fashion designer, and provocateur was his usual mix of brilliance, confusion, contradiction, and oddity. When asked how people respond to a baby ultrasound lanyard he wears, West proclaimed his faith.

“I don’t care about people’s responses,” he said. “I care about the fact that there’s more black babies being aborted than born in New York City at this point, that 50 percent of black death in America is abortion. So I really don’t care about people’s responses. I perform for an audience of one, and that’s God.”

It was a brilliant and courageous answer, especially for a Hollywood celebrity. We’ve come to expect that from West.

Earlier this week, at a fashion show in Paris, West and gal pal Candace Owens donned T-shirts emblazoned with the words “White Lives Matter.”

The shirts mocked the Black Lives Matter movement. Via Instagram, Kanye called BLM a “scam.” Owens has a documentary set to release in five days – "The Greatest Lie Ever Told" – that is expected to further expose BLM’s financial malfeasance and LGBTQ agenda.

Kanye is drumming up attention for Owens’ takedown of BLM. The progressive establishment, the globalists using race to divide, conquer, and queer America, are frustrated by their inability to control “Kunta Kinte” West. Adidas is threatening to dissolve its long-standing partnership with West. Corporate media outlets dispatched their legion of race police to publicly flog West for affirming the value of white life. Rolling Stone complained that the shirts legitimized extremism. A potpourri of black intellectuals deemed the shirts disgusting, harmful, and dangerous.

West did not back away from the controversy in his conversation with Carlson. He said he acted on a “gut instinct.” He then oddly analogized the stunt to disgraced Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding.

That’s classic Kanye West. He contradicts. He produces an album titled "Jesus Is King" and then collaborates with Lil Nas X on the song and video “Industry Baby,” which depicts gay prison sex.

West, like most of us, serves God and the world. The pull of the world is much stronger for West. He’s one of the world’s biggest celebrities. The success of his music and fashion depend on public opinion and popularity. He succumbs to those pressures.

Fame is an intoxicating and destructive drug. Kanye is battling his addiction to it with biblical faith. I respect the sincerity of his fight. He truly values family and being a good father. He wants to see black Americans improve our plight. He believes in the power of truth.

His comments related to abortion and the normalization of obesity – “it’s actually clinically unhealthy. And for people to promote that, it’s demonic” – reveal a deeper understanding of the cultural rot destroying America.

We’re in a battle of good vs. evil. Kanye is one of the good guys. He’s trying to be on the right side of God rather than the history left-wing atheists plan to write.
