The Scourge of Anti-Asian-American Hate in the Context of Neo-Con Jewish Anti-African-American Racism

I would first like to heartily recommend the excellent, if brief and somewhat incomplete PBS documentary “Rising Against Asian Hate”:

https://www.pbs.org/show/rising-against-asian-hate-one-day-march/

We will recall how the Zombie Orange Pig and his many acolytes, including the Whore of Trump and her Tikvah Tablet cabal, have identified COVID as either the WUHAN Virus or the Kung Flu:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/jun/20/trump-covid-19-kung-flu-racist-language

https://groups.google.com/g/Davidshasha/c/qsBSmhB-uLg

This dangerous rhetoric naturally led to a dramatic surge in hate crimes against Asian-Americans:

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/30/fbi-says-hate-crimes-against-asian-and-black-people-rise-in-the-us.html

One of the complications involved in the Asian-American issue is the parallel activism against Affirmative Action, which the PBS documentary does not address.

On the morning after I watched the documentary, The New York Times published the latest on the critical Affirmative Action litigation against Harvard University:

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/10/23/us/harvard-affirmative-action-litigation-cost.html

Back in 2018, Tikvah Tablet published an article by Wesley Yang that cheered on the Anti-Affirmative Action movement, pointing to Asian-Americans as its leaders:

https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/news/articles/asian-americans-racial-quota-system

The Rufo Institute published an article dealing with the Anti-Asian Hate Crimes, attacking Progressive San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin, who was recalled by a concerted effort from Right Wing forces, including Trumpscum Tech Fascist David Sacks:

https://www.city-journal.org/asian-voters-and-the-chesa-boudin-recall

I have just posted articles on the relation between Sacks, Bari Weiss, and the New Fascism that clarifies the Trumpist WOKE Intersectionality in Silicon Valley and Tikvahworld:

https://groups.google.com/g/Davidshasha/c/xJwd9GeQcAk

In order to provide some much-needed clarity and perspective on the matter of Asian-Americans in the face of the racist onslaught, I included an excellent New York Times report by Michael Powell in SHU 1045:

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/01/25/us/selective-high-schools-brooklyn-tech.html

Powell takes a deep dive into the Asian-American situation at the elite high school Brooklyn Tech, which allows us to see the very complicated and painful decisions that need to be made in dealing with Affirmative Action.

Consistent with the Tikvah Neo-Con Anti-Affirmative Action racism, Bret Jewish Genius Stephens did his part to move the Straussianism forward:

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/01/opinion/diversity-public-schools.html

His article is a classic of the most reprehensible variety, seeking to close the door on African-American rehabilitation:

Today, conservatives are furious about what they see as the left’s assault on meritocracy and traditional family values. And progressives are furious about what they see as the right’s assault on advances in equality and public education. But is there a place in America where the ideals of meritocracy and equality, traditional values and public good so seamlessly come together as they do in a school like Brooklyn Tech?

“Meritocracy and equality” is currently a joke, given the kleptocracy of the Trump years, as well as the corruption of our current SCOTUS and its refusal to honor the Rule of Law.

And what are these “traditional values” all about?

The “values” of the Confederacy, of Lynch Law, and Voter Suppression that are reflected in today’s Conservative movement, led by Alito and Thomas?

The Pornographer’s “Radical Rules”!

https://groups.google.com/g/davidshasha/c/3vjp37ZGg-k/m/QbA-OtvoBQAJ

Affirmative Action is fine for him, not fine for any other African-American:

https://abcnews.go.com/TheLaw/story?id=3667079&page=1

In order to better understand the Neo-Con racist attack on Affirmative Action and the dismissive view of Social Justice and cultural diversity, it behooves us to read Michael O’Connell’s 2019 Atlantic article “Deconstructing Clarence Thomas”:

https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2019/09/deconstructing-clarence-thomas/594775/

The Pornographer’s viewpoint applauds Racism in the most bizarre manner:

Demands for a black state and a unified black culture don’t figure on his agenda, but he is staunchly dedicated to a separatist position rooted in individual attainment, achievement without assistance from whites, and self-determination in the tradition of Booker T. Washington. He rejects laws and programs designed to help black people, because he views white paternalism and its attendant stigma as the greatest impediment to black advancement. At the heart of Robin’s book is this extraordinary argument: Thomas “sees something of value in the social worlds of slavery and Jim Crow,” not because he endorses bondage “but because he believes that under those regimes African Americans developed virtues of independence and habits of responsibility, practices of self-control and institutions of patriarchal self-help, that enabled them to survive and sometimes flourish.”

If Slavery was a “choice” for the YEEZUS, Slavery and Jim Crow were positively good for Thurgood Marshall’s replacement!

This Trumpscum Confederate SCOTUS has struck down the Voting Rights Act in a prelude for what is certain to come in the current term:

https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2015/08/john-roberts-voting-rights-act-121222/

It is all KKK, all the time!

So, while the “Rising Against Asian Hate” documentary shows many Asian-Americans rightly moving into the Democratic Party in order to assert their Civil Rights and basic human security needs, the ongoing attack against Affirmative Action, being financed and led by Far Right extremist groups, continues to stand against Progressive values when it comes to African-American inclusion and the need to have diversity in higher education.

It is certain that the Trumpscum SCOTUS will be destroying Affirmative Action in the current session:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/aug/02/supreme-court-affirmative-action-harvard

A Harvard Crimson editorial from March 2021 provides an emphatic argument for retaining the Affirmative Action policies:

https://www.thecrimson.com/article/2021/3/16/case-for-truly-fair-admissions/

I would like to cite the following portion from the article in order to expose the nefarious work of the notorious racist Edward Blum and how he is using the Affirmative Action issue to undermine Civil Rights:

Beyond his involvement with SFFA, Blum has long been known for his interest in lawsuits that grapple with questions of minority protections. After losing a congressional race to a Black Democrat in the 1990s, Blum challenged the Texas redistricting process in Bush v. Vera, which ultimately led the state to redraw its congressional districts. In Shelby County v. Holder, Blum successfully petitioned to strike down a section of the Voting Rights Act that provided for preclearance: a form of federal review that actively increased minority turnout and sought to improve minority representation in Congress. And in Fisher v. University of Texas, Blum argued that the University of Texas’s race-conscious admissions policies were unconstitutional. It is within this context that we must work to understand SFFA’s aims — with its recent petition simply serving as the latest iteration of Blum’s ongoing efforts to undermine minority protections nationwide.

Blum and his inaptly-named Students for Fair Admissions aim to undermine equity in the admissions process as it applies to diversity and racial justice:

We also take particular offense to Blum’s tacit insinuation that Harvard’s Black, Latinx, and Native American students are in some way less deserving of their place at Harvard than their white and Asian peers. At the most basic level, students are admitted to the College based on the belief that they will grace Harvard’s intellectual community and thrive within it — and no student deserves to be denied that confidence and promise. Beyond that, systemic racism has dampened minority group access to everything from educational access to vocational opportunities. The race-conscious nature of Harvard admissions simply seeks to recognize these realities — and even still, it does not even begin to alleviate them.

It is the same old story:

Blum has made a career out of arm twisting judges into eroding the rights of African Americans under the premise that racism has no bearing on the workings of modern institutions. But the justices on the Supreme Court must not allow SFFA to add affirmative action to the list of civil rights laws slashed in an effort to trivialize the omnipresence of racism in American society. Instead, for the sake of truly fair admissions, students’ most fundamental civil protections must be preserved.

We must be able to aggressively protect the rights of all minority groups in America.  It is incumbent on us to speak out when we see hatefully racist violent actions against Asian-Americans, as it is critical to protect the necessary gains made by African-Americans and other persecuted groups to achieve their rightful place in our educational-institutional hierarchy.

It is not some zero-sum game.

Nor is it racism against Asian-Americans to take an accounting of a racist system against African-Americans that began in 1619 and has thrived through enslavement, Black Codes, Jim Crow violence, and a denial of Civil Rights until the 1964 legislation which enshrined those Rights, and which led to landmark breakthroughs like Affirmative Action policies; policies which have enriched our society, and which have led to important perspectival breakthroughs in our pedagogy:

https://www.americanprogress.org/article/5-reasons-support-affirmative-action-college-admissions/

It has led to an explosion of African-American Studies in the past half-century:

https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2020/02/african-and-african-american-studies-at-five-decades/

We must continue to support these important diversity initiatives against the racists who seek to turn back the clock on racial progress, justice, and equity in our educational institutions.
