I'm certain that most of you are aware of David's second job as lead
singer of the powerful noise band, Elle Macho. Their Myspace page now
features three songs that you might not have been aware of. I've also

Hello, everyone.

For my first post I have to introduce myself. My name is Roman and I'm
20 years, I'm french and I live in France.
I've discovered David Mead in the website of his french label Minimum
Music. Since that I'm absolutely in love of his music and I can't pass
a day without listening a song or an album (Indiana these days :D)

(I'm sorry my english is not perfect but I try eheh)

I'm actually listening to the Elle Macho myspace, it's very different
of David's personnal music but I like it :p

I have a Butterfly Boucher disc somewhere. i remember liking it, but
haven't listened to if for a while.

Good morning all,

I'm back from a few days in Chicago.  Interesting how a change of scene, even to an equally cold and blustery one, can refresh one's outlook.  (It will be interesting to see what a real vacation will do for me in a week or two)

I checked eMusic this morning and Almost ands Always is featured in the New section, all thirteen songs available.  They seem to have the release date wrong (Feb 3, 2008). 

It is also available at iTunes (iTunes Plus, w/o the DRM), and Amazon.

I apologize if all this is old news, I just noticed, but I've been in a snowbank for a while.

as well as the colorful descriptions of songs and band included.

Elle Macho is a seemingly incongruous blend of primitive sophistication that works perfectly. 
Aggressively self confident and sensual.  Dramatic romance, like a tango attempted by two untrained but passionately committed dancers.  You're not sure they are going by the rules, but the results are inspiring.
