Hello, I'm sorry if -- as a newbie to the group -- this is a stupid or
repetitive question. But I'm unable to find a place to download the
mp3s OR buy a hard copy version of Almost & Always anywhere! What am
I missing, friends? Any ideas or suggestions?!

Hi Martin,
Other than getting to one of the live shows (and I don't see any new ones of those), I don't know of anywhere Almost & Always is available in the US either, sorry.
I think it is still available at CD Japan, that's where I got my hard copy.

There are some differences between that and the US pressing, but I don't recall just what at the moment. I think it was more the artwork than the content. Craig?
Noisetrade has the Eddie's Attic show now, and it's not on eMusic, iTunes, or Amazon now, so I'm stumped as to download access.

I may be crazy but I thought I saw Almost And Always on iTunes - but
when I looked again, it was gone...
The US version does not seem to be available through any other outlets
but he was selling them at the gig on Friday - so they're around. Had
I caught your message, I would have grabbed a few to give out to those
that can't catch him.
As for the CD, the CD is identical except for the art - as cool as the
Japan version was, the US looks better (but is missing the handwritten
lyrics).
