Reviews for The Orca King, II:
  Renee Smith
says:  The shape shifting between orca and snake was awesome along
with the battle scenes...this was a great 1st time effort for MS.
Foster on a male male story .. I look forward to reading the next to
see how well she really grasps and researches the mm interactions.

Thar he blows again!  As preparation for the release of OK II, I
went back and reread it...Darr did a great job with her first m/m,
which was nicely presented as part of an unlooked for but fulfilling
relationship and not just a casual mutual wank...This second coming of
Tom is very different than the first, but the spirit of the islands and
the voice of the author remain consistent.  Recommended to those
who appreciate the gifts of nature in all their forms, and Darr's
writing in particular.
  Night Owl Romance says:
The Orca King II is a delightfully creative book that takes
you on a different journey with a whale shifting King that must make
amends for past mistakes by facing the shadow created from them. Facing
this shadow will involve confronting an evil serpent that lies in wait
within the one person whom he finds could be his life mate. Devon came
to the island with a marine construction team, but finds there is more
to the island, the people and Tom than he ever could have imagined. The
two men are drawn into a passionate relationship that ultimately brings
Tom's shadow into contact with the evil that he must conquer to save
the ecosystem that depends on his shifting magic. Will Tom and Devon's
devotion be strong enough to set right all the wrongs and give Tom back
his ability to shift again?
Darragha Foster has penned an interesting and different read
that I found very intriguing. The plots native lore comes to life with
each page you read. Tom's thoughts and feelings while coming to grip
with the consequences from his selfish use of his vision quests and the
women he made love to, will keep you turning the pages in wonder. His
personal quest will capture the reader
while he faces his demons and realizes that his soul mate brings love
and danger to all that he rules. This was a unique and enjoyable story
filled with magic, lore, and a beautiful romance to touch your heart.
Enjoy your trip to Orca Island with The Orca King II.
The Orca King and the Orca King, II (and another unpublished Orca King story called:  The Orca King:  Jaded Passions involving Big Tom's son) are set on Orcas Island, Washington, a place I adore.  This is where we like to stay on Orcas.

Earning Her Stripes by Mima:

Word of the Day: Disobedient

Meg's been thrown out of her home, rejected by her friends and lover,
banished by her pride, and thrust into Half-Were House to continue her
obedient life. A life that has nothing to do with being a feline
shifter and everything to do with fitting in with humans. Tradition
demanded she leave and she can't come back simply because she doesn't
have little kitty claws. Determined not to take things belly up just
because that's the way she likes it in bed, the sweet submissive
disobediently returns to The Valley to reclaim her adored teaching
position. With the surprising ally of a surprisingly dominant farmer,
Meg faces down prejudiced felines who would love nothing more than to
turn her into dog food. The pride's leader lays down the terms for
Meg's safe return, but will she be able to help Ben submit enough for
her to stay?

Tail Over Whiskers by Darragha Foster:

Blaze tries to live up to her name after being humiliated, branded and
banished by the werecat society for being different. Really different.
She can only shift when she comes, and then, only partially--and it
doesn't last. Looking for love in all the wrong places, she ends up
inadvertently scent-matched to another half-were shifter. A dog, of all
things. Fighting like cats and dogs takes on a whole new meaning for
Blaze and Jack as they struggle to accept their spiritual, and
physical, bonds. Are they going to set an example for the shifter
prides and packs, or will they simply end up chasing each other's tails?

Piece of Tail by Celia Kyle:

Gina's got a problem. Okay, she doesn't think it's a problem, but the
pride that kicked her to the curb sure does. She feels perfect in every
way. Curves in all the right places and an attitude that just won't
quit, she's got it all. And then some. Now her tail… In her mind, it's
just an added bonus. But in the mind of the prides, her ability to only
grow a tail proves that she's not were enough and too much kitty for
humans. Good thing she's found two men who can't get enough of each
other, her and her tail.

I recently finished "Her Personal Trainer"
my djinn-in-the-treadmill tale, too.  Not sure where I'm going to
submit it.  It's a very sweet (and spicy) tale about an Italian
jinni and his breath-mate, a human woman named Maggie.  The story
line came to me as I hauled my cookies onto a treadmill at the local
gym.  I figured if exercise was accompanied by an orgasm, I'd like
it a whole lot more.  In fact, the heroine in "Her Personal
Trainer" thinks that everything should be accompanied by an orgasm.
Shopping for veggies, waiting in line, etc.  She really
needs to be careful what she wishes for!
