Regular "fun" rides.

Hi, I don't know how well read this grou is, but I do have a
suggestion.

To encourage riding in/about town and raise the profile of local
cyclists, how about running some short/medium rides, say about 10-20
miles round trip from the town centre to nearby
attractions/towns/villages every few weeks?

Hi Steve.

This is something I/we are considering doing, though we'd have to
'compete' with the council-run ones at the moment.

Hi Steve,

Concur with Mike. The council do regular fun rides, anyway, though they
are often difficult to find out about. Just did a trawl of their web
site, and found nothing. Best contact their officer Greg McDougall
(01325 388721) for details.
