Thinking of falkens for P85D staggered, mainly because of price. Michilen's are not lasting more than 15-16k. Thoughts?

I put them on a lower performance car as reviews put it very close for much better price point. I would consider them for a Tesla if price is a concern.

BTW,15K is what I got on my P3D P4Ss as well.

Just saw this post, had to chuckle...

Trying to get less road noise on my "16 MX, I purchased Michelins.  Since only Tesla had the properly rated tires, I sunk $2000, keeping the orig Conti's for use later.

No improvement like I had on Porsche Cayenne, dropping from 21" to 19" wheels and Michelins, that made the handling awesome.

Did a 2000 mile highway family trip, not aware that unless you change the suspension setting, the vehicle lowers at highway speeds to improve aerodynamics, but also increases camber (tilt angle) of all wheels.

Once home, the tires were "bumpy" and noisy.  No obvious damage.

Discount tires identified "cupping" and aggressive inner tread wear, tires basically ruined.

Tesla Service did diagnostics, determine the increased camber caused uneven wear, Michelin's softer rubber worn prematurely.  Not a known issue since most MX owners kept original Conti's or other brand from factory.

Neither Michelin or Tesla offered anything other than advice to set suspension to not lower at ant speed.

Just another reason to never buy another Tesla...

I still have Original (taken off before delivery) staggered Conti's to sell if anybody interested, kept in temp controlled storage.
