Walking Closer

The Lord is at hand... (from Phil 4:5)

Christian, our freedom is found in the promise of his personal care and
attention. The Lord is at hand: "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
(see Heb 13:5)

Let us walk closer. Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of
God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties
on him, because he cares for you. (1Pet 5:6-7) Let's pray.

Father, thank you for your constant care. We long to be free from a
wandering heart so that we can find our rest in you. In you we have peace
and love to share. Thank you for your devotion to us- we look to you today
in Jesus' name. Amen.

Today's very great and precious promise

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You; because he
trusts in You. (Isaiah 26:3)

We have God's Word on it.
